When I opened this web site it poped up a page that had a lot of colors on there. It displays the color and it code in html. I thought it was pretty neat because it goes along with the html book but you can get it right off the web. There is an option to download the colors for no charge for a limited time if you use them alot.

By using the color wheel you can create different contrast on your web page. You can use colors that are opposite one another on the wheel complimary colors. Colorblindness and Web Color

Have you ever thought about what a webpage looks like to a colorblind person. I found this web site that allows you to view colors from the view point of person that suffers from colorblindness. http://colorlab.wickline.org/colorblind/colorlab/

If a person has a problem seeing reds and your web page is made with red then they will not be able to see the web page as you do and they might pass it up so it would be in your best interest to make your web page out of colors that don't effect colorblind people as much. Amusement Park Advertising

This week I decided to check out some amusement parks and how they color their web sites. I found out that Disney uses a more mellow look with blues and purples and has a lot of animation going on things are changing constantly and drawing your attention. It is a very nice site. However, Six Flags was very plain and had no animation and hardly any color does not draw your attention at all. Adventure Land was right next to Six Flags does not use any color that sticks out and has no animation of any kind also very boring and does not catch the eye.http://disney.go.com/index

This week I googles Color+webpage and came up with a good web site that has a lot of choices to choose from.
